LOVE VISITS
EARTH
The day Love came to visit earth he didn't like
the things he'd seen.
Hate had been here before him and had made the people
mean.
He thought, "this place really needs me, think I'll
stick around."
So he came down through the clouds and he settled
on the ground.
Then from the crusted dirty soil the grass grew
tall and green,
and tiny baby flowers grew, and the sparkling brooks
were seen.
The trees began to grow so tall they almost reached
the sky,
they tickled the clouds with their waving leaves
and the clouds began to cry.
The tears of joy filled all the lakes and the fish
sang out with glee.
through out the land the song was heard and all
joined in harmony
Now Hate saw the things that Love had done and angry
he became
for Love had ruined all his fun, yes it was Love
who was to blame.
"well", he thought, "he might control the flowers
and the trees,
but he can't change the people here for they belong
to me."
But Love was not content with just these changes
he had made.
He wanted to see the children laugh and no longer
be afraid.
He threw a kiss to the wind and said, "now scatter
it around."
and the wind liked the things that Love did so he
blew it to the ground.
Now here and there a smile was seen and laughter
soon was heard,
and love was glad now that he had come to spend
this time on earth.
Then Hate began to tremble and he grew, and grew,
and grew,
He'd met his match on earth and he knew that he
was through.
But every now and then he crawls into some unsuspecting
heart
and stirs up trouble on the earth and then the fighting
starts.
But Love is still much greater and knows the people
still want him
and Hate doesn't have a chance, he knows he cannot
win.
So love just hangs around this earth and hleps where
ere he can
For he know that if he leaves, Hate will take over
once again.

SEASONS OF OUR
LOVE
In the springtime of our love I wore jeans and big
pigtails
and you were tall and skinny and played with snakes
and snails
I used to follow you around like a little puppy
dog
over meadows swamps and swails to help you catch
a frog.
In the summer of our love you grew so tall and straight
And I was proud and happy when you asked me for a date.
And I'll always remember when I was asked to share your life.
In the summer of our love we became man and wife.
In the fall time of our love the children
came to us,
and our love grew stronger year by year through
the trouble and the fuss
in such a short time they left to build lives of
their own
and once again, my darling, we were
left alone.
In the winter of our love our hair is turning
white
But our love is still growing and everything is
just right.
The seasons of our love have been beautiful to
me,
and I know we'll be together throughout
eternity.

FEEL AND
EXPERIENCE
As the quiet, cold chill of winter slowly gave way
to the warm melting breeze of spring,
my very soul throbbed to the sounds and sight of
the approach of long lazy summer days.
The song of nature entering every pore of my being,
bringing soft tingling joy, saying
"I'm here. Look around. Feel and
experience."
and I felt, looked, and experienced.
The growing of the bud into the tiny leaf, growing,
growing until the full bounteous trees became one large mass of
green.
Blending all of natures colors into unequaled
beauty.
And I felt and Experienced nature in
her quiet dignity.
The growth and change of season was
upon mother earth blessing her face with glory and majesty.
And I walked upon her surface with pride and
tranquility, with a feeling of reverence
knowing that this was my small part of this vast
universe I felt and experienced the bond between
all life and knew that all depends on all and that the Glory of God
is
in all.
I felt and experienced
the universal language. The silent communication between all there
is, has been and may ever be.
Not only a seeing, touching,
nor hearing, but a deeper sensing.
A communication older than
all language. The communication of ancient and eternal
love.
Communication between all
spirit. It is there
Feel and Experience. And
I did...

DEAR
DAUGHTER
Today I felt anguish at your footsteps, for they
are mine.
Where you are walking now I walked before
you.
How I wish I could change the pathway that
you now follow
for my footsteps led to misery and sorrow and
I fear
that this heartache now you must also
feel.
Is all of tomorrow but a reflection of
yesterday?
One eternal round where time meets time
anew?
Must my yesterday be destined to be
your tomorrow?
Oh, I pray that this pain may be mine and mine
alone.
That you might change your course and find another's
footsteps to follow.
One who will lead you down a happy road
One who will lead you to God and
Eternal life
But no; I fear that this will not be so for
you are my child
I must do the leading,
It's my footsteps that must change.
For the impressions of these are embedded in your
heart.
And your trust in me is as a childs should be in
her mother
I will return and follow another path, one that
you may follow
One that will take you to dwell with our Father,
if I can.
Yes this is the footsteps that I must leave
in your life, for I love you...
