To our Best Loved Scriptures Did you know that many of the scriptures as recorded in the King James version of the bible have been retranslated and through doing so have changed some of the wording of these scriptures thus also changing the meanings as well?  One of the most often quoted scriptures that have been changed is follows: John3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life."  This has been changed to: The New English Bible, "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, That everyone who has faith in him may not die but have eternal life."  At first reading this we may not be aware that the word "Begotten" was disregarded and thus changes the meaning of the scripture. Implying that he was the only son and disinheriting the rest of us as children of our Father in Heaven. New International Version: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." This is not the only scripture that has been changed to suit the translators creed.  There have been many.  Each time there has been a retranslation of the Bible there has been errors made in the understanding.  When the words first went forth from the Mouth of God to his Servants the Prophets there were no errors, they came forth in a pure and perfect form, but they have lost much of their true meaning in the many translations since that time.  It even becomes more unclear when we isolate one scripture from the rest and ignore all else that has been written on the same subject.  These next pages will be dedicated to those scriptures that have had the most affect on my life and maybe yours also.   Testimony Pages Quotes of our Prophets My Favorite Scriptures Your Favorite Scriptures
